There are discount codes 'exclusive' to the site and lots of household names. Deals include: To order the flowers, I click on the box 'Reveal code and visit site' and I'm shown the code I need to input at the check out, while the Interflora window opens at the corner of my screen. But when I'm rerouted to the site I find every shopper gets the same deal. And the same 'exclusive' deal for Interflora is on another site. The sheer wealth of offers is mindboggling. But learning how to get the best out of the very busy site takes time.
And, those 'exclusive' offers aren't always all they seem. This is a forum for bargain hunters to share their latest finds. You can search by category, or whether you want a deal or voucher. A timeline shows exactly when the deal was uncovered, which all adds to the feeling you're in on a secret. The site's interactive - I can press a red or blue button beside each deal depending on whether I want to send the 'temperature gauge' up or down. Enough hot votes and the deal zooms to the top of the list.
Deals which don't quite hit the mark tend to be voted cold. It's a great way of seeing how expert bargain hunters rate the deals.

And, with , members there's certainly no shortage of experts. Eagle-eyed bargain hunters don't seem to miss a trick. A scattergun approach. Sifting through deals in the 'Hot Section' of best new finds is like rummaging through tat at the church jumble sale in the hope of striking treasure. The site says it offers 'deal anarchy from the masses'. It means big businesses get no free advertising or preferential treatment but it also means there are no exclusive deals. It's fun to use and great to feel part of a bargainhunting community. But there are no exclusive deals.
Clearly laid out and easy to navigate. There's a list of top 20 voucher codes, and best print-out coupons. I can search by category, trawl through an entire alphabetical list of participating companies or type in the name of a store. Deals are colour coded: And by typing in my post code, I can narrow the search to printable vouchers I can use locally at a range of outlets, from shoe shop Aldo to Pizza Express.
A real bonus. Again I can only get this by going through the site. And I sign up for an exclusive deal with Lovefilm. The site lists all expired deals as well as current ones. It's confusing and irritating. Looking for a bargain at home accessories shop Bombay Duck, I see a 10 per cent off deal expired just three days ago. The site is fantastically user friendly and the deals are terrific. Nice and simple to use. I can search by product, shop, or category. I type the name in the search area in the green box at the top and I'm away.
A useful 'Help' page tells me how to get the best from the site. The site is also refreshingly short on hype. But the small print tells me the sale has been going on since October and any great bargains were snapped up long ago. I'm disappointed at a shortage of household names. And I can't find a single exclusive deal. The site's great to use but fantastic deals are few and far between. It offers much less than its competitors. No comments have so far been submitted.
